Pie Armor and tools
What is Pie Armor and how does it work?
Pie Armor is our universal stainless steel mesh pie weight. Lay it over parchment on your unbaked crust before blind baking and it holds the dough flat without the mess of ceramic beads or dried rice. It fits 7 to 10 inch pie dishes and cleans up in the dishwasher.
What is Pie Armor made of?
100% stainless steel 304, the same food-grade steel used across the BakeBarn lineup. No plastic, no coatings, nothing that chips into your food.
Does the Pie Shield fit my pie dish?
The Pie Shield adjusts to fit 7 to 11 inch pies, so it works with most standard dishes, deep dish included. LFGB-grade silicone, heat-safe to 500°F.
Are BakeBarn products dishwasher safe?
Yes. Every stainless steel and silicone product is dishwasher safe.
Parchment
What sizes does your parchment come in?
Pre-formed parchment in 8 inch square, 9 inch round, 9 x 13 inch and 9 x 5 inch loaf pan sizes, made to drop straight into standard pans with no tearing or trimming. Heat-safe to 450°F, natural and unbleached.

We ship from Florida, within the United States only.
What is your return policy?
Unused items in their original packaging can be returned within 30 days of delivery. If something arrives damaged, contact us with a photo and your order number and we’ll make it right. Full steps are on our Shipping & Returns page.
Is your packaging plastic-free?
Yes. Every BakeBarn order ships in plastic-free, recyclable packaging.

Why the medieval theme?
Baking has always been part craft, part armor. The right tools make the difference between a good pie and a great one. We lean into the knight angle because it’s fun, not because we’re trying to be clever.
